@bish, that is an interesting question. They look too new to have been made in 1914, plus the maiden voyage of the Royal Oddyssey was in 1982. All of the similar tokens that I see for sale have a date of 1984 on them rather than 1914. My best guess is that the date range for these is the early 1980s, perhaps 1982-1983.

Royal Cruise Line had two ships named the "Royal Odyssey." The first sailed 1981-1988 and the second sailed 1991-1997. (Those dates would include sea trials.) I agree with @Spence, this looks more like a 1980s medal.

Somewhere online, there should be a log of voyages of the ships. It might be possible to determine their Panama Canal transits, and in what years.

The Panama Canal construction began on May 4, 1904 and was completed on August 15, 1914, hence the dates shown represent the construction period of the canal, not the minting date for the token.
