I came across these 2 dimes yesterday. Does anyone know what the cause of their appearances would be? The first one is significantly smaller than a normal dime and it is a darker almost copper color. The second one is missing part of it and appears to have cracks in it.

The 1946 is a silver melt coin. If it were a mint error, the damage to the coin makes it questionable. But sill worth melt.
