Funny thing is it is as wide as a nickel and as tall as a quarter so I kinda believe it could have slipped threw the cracks maybe?

looks like it was pressed flat in a vice between to flat pieces of metal. The coin is very out of round.

Note a mint error. How ever it was done, it is just a face value coin if you can get someone to take it.
