Circulation strike .
Your grading system GEF near mint state
North. American grading MS60 to MS62
Too much chatter in the obverse focal points .
Remember these usually show in Choice
Mint state to Gem . Most were saved with few seeing
actual circulation .

MS-62 (Sheldon) sounds right.

Light wear on the hair, cheek and eyebrow. Toning is quite distractive but can't be helped (Coin is half copper sadly).

British grading which I use is much harsher than American and this is NOT mint state in any sense of the word. The wear is quite obvious.

My grade - barely EF and below average for this type which is usually UNC or at least AU.

I'd say technically Unc but a few small scratches.
