Just curious everyones opinions. Old Soap Box ANACS holder.
Not my pictures.
The lighting looks a little off but to me this looks like a nice original example.
I liked the clashing and looks like VAM 8

AU-53 sounds about right. Possibly an old cleaning and retoning, and I'm not a fan of the color.

I am thinking it is going to be a nice coin . The color I think may have something to do with the lighting as the original full size photos are kinda washed out but I will hold judgement on that until it arrives.

This ones graded AU-50 I can not wait to get it to see it in hand.
Depending on how she looks I may send her to PCGS along with the soap box 1901 Philly I have and A 1891 O VAM 1A4 Soap Box for potential crossover .
I love the old Soapbox holders but they dont store in my holders well.

I got the coin in the mail today and I have to say it is really nice. It has high eye appeal for the grade.
I think it looks correctly graded at AU-50 but coin has really nice natural color and looks completely original.
Great pick up. Looks like VAM 8
