If that is the case then why on the obverse is "e pluribus unum", under "In God We Trust"? Additionally why in Lincoln's bust seen in the background of the reverse?

It looks like a 'vise job' where someone has squeezed three coins together in a vise and this was the one in the middle.

Whenever you find a coin like this, the first thing you should do is look at the letters. If they are mirrored,99.9% chance that they are one coin squeezed into another, or glue.
