I fou d this dollar, nothung really special about it considering the shape, I thought it was probably just faded from a wallet/pocket etc... but then I noticed the serial numbers and seals are still very vibrant on all areas of the otherwise faded bill. Which led me to the possibility of a possible last printed (or close to)bill before refilling the onk. Does this seem logical or am I being too imaginative here? And if not is this common?

Lmk what you think..

I think you are being too imaginative, you have to understand the printing process.
There is no way that could happen during the printing or pass by quality control.
It has possibly gone through a washing machine which bleached out some of the printing.
I believe that the seals and serial numbers use a different ink so it is possible they were not affected.

Appears to me as a worn note, I think the treasury seal & serial number are stamped Into the money, where as the black ink is printed Onto the money & is more prone to getting worn off.
I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better?
