Missing clad? There is no nickel/silver on the the edge of the coin. It is not as thick as a regular dime. Also, it seems a little bit off in shape. As in not a perfect circle.
P.S. the pictures make the dime look a little off color due to lighting. Sorry. I can can retake if needed.

@peek, looks more like environmental exposure, but what is the weight? That could help us.

The dime weighs roughly 1.7 grams.
I will recalibrate my scale to be sure.
Time to round up 100 nickels aka raid the kiddos piggy bank.

At this point it appears to be a victim of considerable environmental damage--like having been partially buried in occasionally moist soil for a long time.
