@dar, it does look a bit like an OMM, but you will want to compare the mm position and die markers. Here is a link to the varietyvista site to get you started.

hello Darjomar,

to get more responses, it is best to upload a close up picture of the date with the mintmark.
and MAKE SURE the picture is not tilted as the one you have posted.

and if you think you have found the variety on one of THE websites, also post a close up of the die markers.

also, upload a full picture of the obverse and reverse.

thanks.

Just mintmark punch damage. The real deal has a lot stronger over 'D' look to them:

I dunno Coop, the mint mark position seems to be correct. Would need expanded pic to be sure though.

Provide an image to see if the angle if the mintmarks are the same or not. Horizontal images help keep things straight.

Sharper pic, rotated correctly, would help.

Your close-up pic does look convincing but, this is an overlay [lining up dates] of your pic over the s/d omm [using VV] and it is not promising. Granted, both are only partial pics taken at differing angles so maybe better pics would indicate one way or the other or, maybe it is a new omm.

The second pic is an overlay lining up MMs rather than dates.

Good luck.

* edit: you get extra points for getting the "y'all" contraction correct, LOL

I appreciate you putting the time into the overlay that's very helpful, thank you.
