Please Help! 1980 D Error Washington Quarter! Sandwich Error?

Mike 1985 New Member United States 15 Posts	Posted 02/25/2022 6:32 pm Hello I found this 1980 quarter in my change, the weight is off, its lighter, feels different around the edges and the sandwiching is not right like something went wrong. I am wondering what kind of error this would be/could be? And also does it hold any extra value to it? I've never seen anything like this before... Report this Post to the Staff

Can even happen from being in the cupholder in your car if you drink soda. The copper gets eaten away before the cladding. Shop CCF Members on eBay. Report this Post to the Staff
