1957-D-Common-Grade-Coin-To-Grade-Please-Still-Need-One!

Although not a rare coin, I still need one for my collection. I am a betting man so I am willing to put up 23.75 dollars to grade against 275$ according to PCGS, so probably 150$ or so. If most of you think I have no shot, I will try a different one. There were 5 in the roll that are pretty good. After looking through rolls all afternoon, I stumbled on this roll with some good coins. I hope?

Left obverse field - long scratch, or die polishing line?

It's polishing lines. I studied it real hard before putting coin snap. Three others have the same line. I figured it was agood way to tell. At least for me. I am not able to capture the blue silver tone it has along with the copper. Very appealing at least to me. The lighter spots on the coin are a bluish grey sort of? not sure how to describe it

not a fan of the blotchy color on both sides. probably too many marks/ticks on the lapel, shoulder to pull a 67.

where are finding all of these coins? did you buy a truckload of rolls?

I am not a real fan of all the toned coins. I am posting what I get. I am looking for coins with as few hits as possible and as strong a strike as possible. Some members don't realize that the picture is no less than 20 pwr microscope usually more. hits you are seeing are not even visible with a 5 pwr loupe. Yet at this high power it doesn't show hairlines or scuff marks. The scope looks right thru them. I could post one spectacular coin after another by the angle and lighting. That's counterproductive for me. I am interested in whether the coin has enough positives to reach 67. I take a picture of a coin with the angle that produces a picture of the contact marks it has then rotate. My logic is that the grader will rotate the coin anyway and see the contact marks for himself. I have not been able to master a camera yet to give you the correct color. I could not afford all those coins off ebay. I have made a couple connections with dealers who don't want the hassle of ebay . I am able to buy rolls at a third of ebay prices. Still costing me a pretty penny. I am enjoying it and you can't put a price on enjoyment at my age and I can't bring it with me. Thanks for all your help.
