It just goes to show how desirable this coin is nss-52. I don't care for quarter eagles because of their size, but this one certainly has the cachet of extreme rarity.

I was allowed to hold an 1870-CC double eagle in my hand once. A half million dollar coin. It gave me a feeling of reverence and awe. And it is much more common than this 1841.

Maybe I should take a grader's job at NGC.....
