I found this coin while going through my change bucket and I don't know how I didn't see this before now, but it caught my eye. I'm fairly new to coin collecting, so my question is, what happened to this coin? Is it an actual error or is it man made?

Cool. It's called a counter-punch. Someone 'stamped' the coin with a design. Didn't happen as part of then minting process.

. Agreed, a counter stamped coin. We have a thread dedicated to them.

It is only an error if it happens during the striking of the coin and there is no
way that would happen then. As stated, it is a Masonic counterpunch that
was applied after the coin left the mint so technically it is PMD.

many Presidents have been Masons, but Harrison was not one, they should have chosen a different dollar coin

I agree agree, a secondary counterpunch. Not a mint error, sorry.

Definately man made after it left the mint, Looks like a sandwich counter stamp - was squashed between 2 different stamps.
