coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 03/05/2022 10:47 am Note the outside edge of the coin? On normal strikes there will be no distortion of that edge. Note the rim on the outside of both sides of the faces on the coin? That will follow the edge around the faces. On your coin, note the pushed inwards of that rim. So that is how you can tell that the coin was altered, after the strike. With the outside edge and this rim being altered, it is damaged intentionally in a garage. No bonus for a damaged coin. Even the smallest damage will turn it into a cull coin. (just a face value coin after this happens) CoopHome: How can I tell if my coin is damaged or not?
