This particular seller has had a dishonourable mention on the forum before. Specifically, they claim to "not be hobbiers" and publicly refuse to answer perfectly reasonable questions from "hobbiers", like "is it a fake", "what condition is it in" or "what metal is it made of". The coins they sell are almost entirely modern tourist fakes. This coin is no exception. The "bee and stag" coin is copied from an ancient silver coin from Ephesus; a fact that the seller could determine extraordinarily easily, simply by typing "ancient coin bee stag" into Google. This coin is clearly not silver and very porous, characteristics of the base-metal "tourist copies" that are sold to cruise ship passengers and other tourists who visit Ephesus. That fact that they know to call it a "stag", rather than just a "deer" or "reindeer" or "moose" or whatever, implies to me that they already know that the coin is a tourist copy of a coin from Ephesus (the hostile tone of their FAQ proves they must have dozens of emails a day from concerned eBayers about this) and refuse to admit it. The fact that they've ripped through dozens of Noahs Ark-themed ebay aliases (they've already changed their name since that earlier post from December 2021) tells me they also know they are clearly and deliberately violating ebay's policies regarding selling replica coins (not to mention their policy on keyword spamming) and keep getting their accounts NARUed by ebay; this doesn't deter them so they just start up a new account with a new name. I would therefore also highly question their claims to be a "charity".

I have a few bee coins from Ephesos and this does not look anything like any of them. The fabric is all wrong, and how can it be unresearched when it clearly shows a bee and a stag. As @Sap says, a quick search on Google would bring it straight up!

If you read the jibberish, the seller states repeatedly that their items are "fantasies". ebay is well aware of these crooks. They have many accounts and like the mythical hydra, when one head is lopped off, two new ones sprout.

I've contacted this seller several times in the last two years, asking them to take their coins to an ancient coin dealer to verify they are modern fakes. They responded, thanks. They used to not say they are fantasy pieces so that's a little improvement. Their descriptions are nonsense and claim to support charity, which can confuse some. They obviously know they sell fakes and don't care. I've reported this seller several times to ebay and called ebay once about them. ebay doesn't have the expertise to know the difference and they don't seem to care. Avoid this seller like Covid. There are honest ebay sellers with real ancients, do your homework before buying.

They've been peddling fakes for years and change their name when they get too much negative feedback. Do not deal or correspond with them - they are insane. Read their descriptions of the items.
