Doesn't look like a MD to me. The "G" in God is interesting with a triple or quadruple. Closed upper "S" in TRUST. On the reverse the "T" and "E" in STATES have some die wear. Additionally, on the obverse, there is a crack to the left of the ear running north and south.
Any help would be appreciated.

A closer view would be a help. Also don't put the light on the side you want to be showing. Allow the light to fall over the area in question with a single light source bulb. Spot lighting on Machine Doubling creates glare. Think Light and shadows. You will enjoy the image a lot more.

Note the blue image? It will show the Machine Doubling. But the normal image just shows glare on those areas. So you can see it in your scope, but the light creates glare and hides the Machine Doubling. The blue image is showing an inverted color image. Allows the glare to be removed and the MD stands out like a sore thumb)

I see what you mean. These were huge files I didn't have time last night to crop. I'll update later tonight. I set my focus using 10x spot on the coin.

Thanks.

Tight image of IN GOD. G deformity doesn't look like PMD or MD. Opinions on possible cause is appreciated.

Thanks, Isla
