Absolutely stunning coins.
One comment on PCGS's truviews.....in my opinion, they are nothing close to a 'true view'.
Impossible to grade a coin just from looking at a truview.

In my experience, TruViews for bronze almost always appear much darker than the actual coin. They also emphasize even very tiny marks that should not affect the grade, making the coin appear worse than it should for the grade.

The third one should be a 66 if for no reason other than the strength of details/die state. I've found that PCGS leans a bit too heavy on eye appeal and sometimes undergrades stuff with certain toning types, relative to strict technical standards that you'd get from ICCS.
I've had better luck with high confidence resubmissions by taking the risk and cracking them.

LargeCent. just old Bill thinking out loud, since you both appear to be well into PCGS grading.
The Canadian large cent collecting community is a pretty tight-knit group of some really good folks.

Yes, it was just me thinking out loud. You guys both live in the US, both collect Canadian in some top grades, are familiar with PCGS, and you evidently like Vicky Large Cents like me.

Canadian Large Cents were my earliest niche of collecting interest when I was a kid. These days my main collecting interests are targeting Mint State examples that have better eye appeal than what I already have. I'm a Sheldon Scale Skeptic, but have exploited the weaknesses inherent to TPG for fun and profit over the years. If this is what bosox is buying at Heritage, ebay, etc, then there's a 100% certainty he and I have already gone at it before in auctions.

Love the satin-like texture of that Edward VII cent... it's breathtaking. PCGS could have easily given that one the '+' in their grade.

Lovely copper there!
I have often wondered if PCGS has a precise method of separating MS65/MS66/MS67 and the "+s" from each other or if it is just subjective.
Do they count marks or flaws? Is there a precise percentage of the coin that can have a spot like the 1907 above?
I have sent a lot of coins in to them and, while I am getting pretty confident about grades on some, there are quite a few where I really don't know which grade they will get and I just hope for the best.
