I love this number sequence. Is there a term for it other than it being trinary?

I think it's called a "double quad".  to the CCF!

I believe a Double Quad is XXXXYYYY. The OP's note doesn't really have a name, other than interesting.

Steve is probably right, though I've definitely seen the term used to describe this situation.

I'd have to agree with Steve in that it is just interesting. Double quad would mean there are 2 quads (4 numbers), which this doesn't have. If we are making up new terms, maybe dual double pairs? I wouldn't consider it a fancy serial number note.

Ok. Good stuff. I am going to post it on ebay tomorrow. I'll update y'all on what it brings. I'm gonna go with captaincoffee and call it dual double pairs. You coined the term coffee let's see if it sticks.
