I have a 1944 Wheat penny looks like it's in pretty good condition besides the normal PD. would this Penny be worth getting graded? I Kno it can roughly cost like $40 or so to get graded but with this being how old it is and doesn't look too shabby!!! And yes the back is more shinier, the front is more rainbowish colors
Good photos. While a nice example, the coin appears to fall in the high XF range--perhaps reaching the low end of AU (About Uncirculated). Would be a nice hole filler until a better example comes along. Let's see what others say.
Ashley , I agree that it's a nice looking Wheat cent , but there are too many marks scratches and spots mainly on the reverse . I would just put it into a 2x2 and save it .
