Selling my coins on ebay was part of my hobby. It was an integral part of my coin collecting. Unfortunately, due to the bans, I can no longer sell on ebay. But I still have coins, tokens, which I bought partly for sale. I had the idea to sell coins not through electronic wallets (paypal), but in cash (money in an envelope), but it is unlikely that the buyer will like it, perhaps even some will not want to contact me ((. Maybe it 's worth exchanging with someone ? What do you think?

You might try the buy/sell/trade section here on CCF. Any local coin shops near you? Coin clubs? Local papers to place ads in? Facebook? Flea market? John1

Have a little patience. This ban stuff should end soon, I hope.

Friends here within the CCF has nothing do with war or international politics. I agree with all the other comments. Still possible in the meantime to buy / sell within the CCF if a member has more than 250 posts.

I think there maybe be postal bans in place though, so maybe mail is not getting in or out of Russia.

There is no postal ban for sending out of Russia, but there may be problems with some countries. I see the only way to sale now is to use crypto. Coins for coins:) The problem is that not too many buyers are ready to pay with BTC...

What kind of coinage are you selling? I don't use ebay at all, while you use it a lot, so I suspect that our collections might have very different focuses, and you might have something I want but couldn't get. AFAIK there are (for the moment) no problems with post or transfers within the country.

Thank you for support. Later I will put the list of coins I have for sale in the appropriate section on the forum. But how the buyer will pay for the purchase, I do not know. I will be glad if he turns out to be from the USA and sends me some US coins in return. In general, barter is also a way out, I think.

Slerk = I think we are on the same ship as much as bans, regulations and similar things are on the table. Until 2015 or so, PayPal was allowed here in Turkey and I used to buy and sell a lot of different things. It was more or less a liberal free market online back then. After that date PayPal was banned here in Turkey and leaving the country. Without a global or a local alternative to ebay, many collectors with an interest to world coins left without any source or somewhere to buy/sell numismatics. Occasionally I used CCF's selling and trading section then. In the end I decided to collect less and sell much of what I own using local auction houses and now I'm enjoying about %20 of what I used to have before. Having said all those, Russia seems to have a different situation and I am sure things will be back to normal soon. Best wishes from the South.

I have created a new topic for exchange/sales (although more exchange since foreign transfers no longer work in Russia) here http://goccf.com/t/419391I hope I have chosen the right forum thread. Perhaps someone from the forum users will be interested in my coins.

Export of U.S. banknotes to Russia is illegal under the Executive Order, so no cash in envelope allowed. Recommend all tread carefully here...perhaps just wait it out.

According to my experience sending cash by post is also unsafe...
Crypto is the only possibility to pay for coins to Russia right now.
