You began with the right place to find out the coin is probably not genuine.

Unfortunately not genuine. The Chinese side states Kiang Nan province, not Hu Peh.

The diameter, weight, and an indication if a magnet is attracted to this piece would also be nice, but I agree that it looks like a fake.

I can help out the OP a bit more:
Dragon Dollars generally have a Chinese side and English side.
The legends typically match.
Coins do exist where the legends do not match and those are called "Mint Sports", "Fantasies", or perhaps "Forgeries".
Those were all genuine coins in silver back in the day, or other, but not authorized.
Not what we see so very often today.
Your piece is a very common fake having the English side not matching the Chinese side.
In your case you can see the English side is not right.
Someone can correct me if I am wrong.
I think the "HAH" belongs on a Kiangnan coin.
And the Chinese side clearly indicates Kiangnan.
So the English side as Hu-Peh is what's wrong with this coin.
If it were in my hands, more could be found to be wrong and posted here.
Edited to add the Chinese upper legend:

Yeah yours is a fake coin. HAH is the abbreviation for H. A. Holmes. A chemist employed by the Kiangnan Bureau of Silver Dollar Production to improve the silver purity of the silver dollars.

In addition to the coin English not matching, the coin also looks cast as the details are, for a lack of a better term, bloated. Which is a sign of either cast or inadequate pressure being applied.

There are many other things that are wrong about this coin but I don't have the time to go over each of them.

I do take the time to document the details in my books of fakes. I have several formats of data sheets to document what's right and wrong about each coin in the binders. I have two or three or four or five different formatted sheets to measure, observe, record and photo suspect coins.
I say "suspect", but in reality, very few are "suspect". They are known to be false. It's just a matter of filling out the appropriate worksheet with the data and entering the coin photos with data into the books.
