This is a raw Morgan. Do you think it's genuine? It weighs 26.58g, passes the ping test, wear pattern is typical for
VF Morgans, but dark reverse toning has me puzzled. What're your thoughts?

It looks like it may be a VAM-6 but I'm not 100% positive.

Looks fine to me, possibly old album / paperflip toning.
I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better?

The coin appears genuine. The coin was stored face up and the reverse came into direct contact with sulfur surface. Most likely one of those albums that the coin is only viewable from one side, then went back into use or pocket.

Agree likely authentic and also agree XF. I wouldn't mind having this one - it's a very nice coin.

Not seeing any red flags and the weight is consistent with a typical Morgan in the VF+ range.
