Good question. I see mostly toning and staining here, however on the reverse, I see a small section with the cladding missing.

It appears as a missing part of the cladding. If it was struck that way the design on the red area will be strong. If removed it will be a ghost image:

But the condition of the coin would lower the value a lot. It makes it look suspicious.
