Missing one Roosevelt to complete my Dansco album. I've never been able to noodle a 1971P for some reason. Prices for loose UNC examples have been in the $5 range. I've seen the whole P/D Mint set for that much and figured that would be the best option. Would $5 or $6 be out of line for this set? That's the best I've run across. Thanks for your opinions.

A 71 mint set contains no silver . As far as dates and P&D mints none of them are really sort after . As far as errors on this set I wouldn't know ,so $5 or $6 sounds right .

I just went through all my mint sets from 59-81. Most were really bad. Most of the dimes were mid to low choice bu. I will be up upgrading them when I find them. If it were me I would try and find an ebay listing with real photos of the actual coin and try and cherry pick what I hope might be an ms65 for $5. I am fairly sure the average set would only provide an ms62/63.

If I had no luck with that then I would go for a set, also trying to find good pictures of the larger coins, take my chances with the dime and sell off the extras back on ebay.
