Getting out of my box here. My first venture out of the mint error and variety's forum. In the last few weeks I've been trying to get my feet wet learning about grading. With my naked eye the coin looks pretty decent, granted it's only a couple years old. Under my 10x loupe I can see a touch of luster missing off the cheek and the hair above Washington's ear. Reverse seems to look a little better. FWIW the rim is nice with no dings. Maybe not the best strike but looking at other quarters of these years doesn't seem like they have that nice deep strike look. I'm long winded but would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.

*Edit: I need to add the obligatory 'this coin looks better in person than my pictures' :)

@MakesNoCentsToMe: You do not to add this. No need.

Maybe this coin is one of the best in roll or rolls. Is not something which will balance an grading fees. I have a uncirculated 68, and is different.

I agree in choice grade. Glare is making it hard to pick up any circulation signs. Lots of chatter on the obverse. Given the photos maybe ms65 but probably ms64.

@captainkurt Thank you for your thoughts. Working in the machining business I'm all too familiar with chatter but what is chatter on a coin? Thanks.

imo the coin has seen some circulation. the glare from what looks like overhead is washing out the surfaces. these are not typical coins I grade but to me it looks AU58

I'm thinking high AU to low MS. Difficult to narrow it down given the photos posted. I am seeing a fair amount of light chatter/ticks, which would suggest light circulation.

Wish I could get my pics better. I'm constantly messing around trying to get the best ones. I'll get them figured out eventually.
