To CCF , Looks like a decent EF-45 . Common date ,value a few dollars over melt in this condition .

I agree with EF45 with balance with plus. IMO is under 50 and plus to 45

If you can get the crud off of it with a pure acetone dip and a distilled water rinse I think you will then have an AU / UNC coin.

It is only worth a couple of bucks over melt to most collectors no matter whether it is XF, AU or low end UNC.

I think it would make AU-50. Agree it needs an acetone bath.

Attention guys with the acetone on 900 silver. Could take out all the mint shinny. The acetone in general is not recommended for silver. Then the acetone pure is hard to find, except you do not know an Pharmacia.

for me this is one of the harder series to grade and one reason why I never collected them along with the Kennedy's.
the coin looks circulated. AU53 or 55. I'm leaning closer to AU53 due to amount of missing luster.

the coin does not look like it was stored properly for a long time. I've seen many like this that were stored in an old whiteman cardboard folder or in a more humid environment.
