Looks like a proof to me. I would hate to give an opinion based upon pictures. Can't tell if hairlines are on the coin or the holder. Very nice coin however!

Right now on ebay there is a 1880 PF-67 in a NGC slab 4077085-006. Doesn't look as nice as this one and asking $20K

It does appear to be the VAM-13 obverse die - proof only. I can see the pup on the right wheat stalk.
Grading this beauty is beyond my pay scale....PF something...

They are both outstanding remaining examples of our treasured coinage heritage from the days of proof strike Morgans -

Either would be a lovely addition to most of our collections. That said - I prefer the 1882 dated example, knowing that both of them are well beyond my fiscal ability to acquire.

That's a stunner I'll say PF67 CAM. Unless it's DCAM I think the 1880 and 1882 should be similarly priced in that grade so I'd go with the 1880. If it's DCAM, however, I think the 1882 becomes considerably rarer and is worth about 50% more.

I've always wanted to hold a proof Morgan in my paws just for the experience. Unlikely it will ever be in my budget, but I'd jump on this one if I had the chance. Beauty!

The frost breaks and surface hairlines make me want to say 64, probably CAM but not sure. Nice coin either way!
