Maybe get a nice clear shot with a little more light on the area where it meets the rim. Turn the coin until you get the right light/shadow mix. Coop posted a full blown Cud picture that looked similar and silviosi said this is a known weak spot on this design since the 50s. Of course it'd be nice to find a no date on these.
