The image is just to have something besides my novel here lol, it's my first Authenticated coin my wife got me this week and I love it. I just wanted to say thank you to all of y'all on this page. I've learned a lot from this community. I no longer refer to google or YouTube and that was the first step in really finding errors for me. All the information shared by all of you has helped me tremendously. I've not been collecting long but I'm learning and enjoying every bit of it and hope to be a strong member of the community one day in the future. Again thanks for all the knowledge shared it helps a lot.

I'm glad you like your 2022 silver eagle. It's great your wife bought it for you. Congrats. A lot of collectors love silver eagles. Your's is slabbed by a coin company called Bradford Exchange, they want $120 for one. For future purchases you might consider the grading companies most collectors use, NGC, PCGS, ANACS, etc. You could check out NGC, PCGS graded 2022 silver eagles MS69 mint state on ebay if you want more. There are honest good sellers on ebay, some bad sellers. So it's good to learn about coins and which dealers to trust. I'd recommend you do not buy coins on TV programs or from newspaper adds, they tend to be expensive. I would not buy coins from Facebook or foreign web sites, there are a lot of fakes there. If you have a local coin dealer, go there. Also check out the major USA coin dealers on the Internet like APMEX, Bullion Exchanges, SDBullion and others. Compare prices before buying.

hey folks, be nice. his wife went and got this as a gift, the OP stated it was authenticated, not graded. He is proud of this coin and accepted it as the gift it was meant to be. If you all said that to me the first time I stepped off the curb, I would be put off a bit. How about a congrats on his newly acquired coin, then maybe give some advice for future purchases. to the OP (JMWeeks2020) to this forum, it is a great place to learn about your coins you collect and are interested in. The gift you got is a very nice coin, your other half has great taste - I myself love the ASE's (American Silver Eagle) I myself have an example of every proof that was minted so far. Edited for spelling error. and a gender neutral greeting

To CCF , Don't fret it . Your wife did you a solid anyway by buying you a silver coin . So now the both of you know which TPG'ers are the best . It just takes experience in the hobby ,don't worry you'll both catch on by staying with CCF .

It most certainly is from the Bradford Exchange. It cost my wife $25 she got some discount promo. She's actually very smart and does a little research before purchasing anything, she don't know something about. I definitely wouldn't have this coin if she would have had to pay $120 for it lol. The coins not the topic though. Just wanted to say thanks for the knowledge including the knowledge in this topic. Thanks fellas and lady's

JMWeeks2020, Please know we are not trying to anger you or your wife,we are just trying to inform you about the purchase. The gift was a great idea on your wife's part, she just way overpaid for it. Stick to PCGS or NGC or ANACS in the future. You can even post a question here before you buy a coin. I hope all of this doesn't discourage you two. John1
