Just received this key date and really couldn't decide on a proper grade for it.. Something's off with the obverse and I suspect a possible cleaning. Please let me know what you all think!

If these were taken with the same lighting setup, then I'm guessing the portrait side was cleaned at some point.

You should really show the full coin when requesting grading.
Hard to tell what the missing parts look like.
It also looks like it may have some sort of a corrosion or cleaning problem.

The same lighting set up was used I just moved the coin to show a different lighting for the obverse.

This digital microscope has an extremely small arm making a full coin pic near impossible although I appreciate your opinion!
