The obverse seems to consist of a bust, but any useful detail is pretty much lost. I take the reverse to be a depiction of Pegasus. However, this representation is a bit on the crude side and with its stiff legs, I'm not seeing a good match anywhere. I'm thinking that the obverse legend running around the periphery could indicate it's a Roman Provincial issue. Colligo ergo sum Report this Post to the Staff

Celtic coinage certainly mimicked Greek motifs, and that includes known examples depicting Pegasus. The one thing I don't see with this is that for many Celtic coins on which horses appear, there are prominent "knots" at the leg joints, which are entirely absent in this case.
