Hello all, thank you for taking the time to look at my post. I'm still learning, so please go easy on me. I recently purchased my first Morgan. I'd like to send it off for grading but not sure if I should mark it as an error on the grading tier before sending it off. As you can see in the pictures, there is obvious doubling in some spots but there are some other wild and curious things going on that I cannot figure out. I've read that it is common for the eyelid to be doubled...? (see pic) And the date.. "18" on top of "18" in 1884. I graciously welcome anyone's input. I included pictures of the things I'm curious most about. My apologies for such a long post. I'm not sure if there is some die clash action going on or what. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Sorry for the delay, I cannot figure out your image optimizer for the life of me. I managed to get an image of the Obverse uploaded but gave up on the reverse. Hope this helps. Thanks.

I also could never figure how to use the CCF image optimizer. I down size the pixels on my camera or computer. I set the pixel count at 480p and it goes through every time. I do not use my iphone for coin photos as the image was never good enough.

Wrong surface, color and design. You have a counterfeit coin. Hopefully you can get your money back from where ever you bought it from.
Rest in Peace

I feel like a fool. I am only just beginning to explore Morgans, I never expected this. I'm comparing it now to slabbed Morgans, same date and mint as this one, I honestly cannot tell a difference. What should I be looking closely for to tell the difference in design? Thanks.

100% you all are right. Instead of the correct weight of around 26.6 grams, both of the Morgan's I have weight 21.3 grams. FAKE! Thank you very much for replying to my post. I was just about to send both in to be graded. You just saved me a good bit of money. Case closed.
