Hello. I have a 2017P penny that Ive had for a while now. I know there is limited dbl denoms on penny planchets and this one I cannot figure out if or what it might be. Any help would be great. I joined NGC recently...would it be worth sending in for a designation if there is one...lol. Thanks ya'll.

@jam, first welcome to CCF. Second, can you please words to say what you are seeing? I'm not seeing anything specific in the toning that makes me think this is a mint error, but I want to hear your description. Thx.

Of course. Alot of toning but it looks as if there is a bust of head on the reverse facing west in these pictures however north if the coin was straight. Prob nothing just making sure. Thanks again

All I can see is a regular 2017P cent with some discolouration.

to the CCF and. If you look at a coin long enough, you can see anything you want too. It's called Pareidolia.
