RobO411 Pillar of the Community United States 2408 Posts	Posted 04/24/2022 6:44 pm This is the ugliest coin in the box so far. I usually wouldn't bother with a coin in this condition (but) it's a 1989. So I had to flip it just to see. Ouch reverse is worse. This is the 3rd one I've found in last six months. Your example does look a little closer but would just say it's due to a worn out die and mushy devices. If you look at the examples of VV's, I don't see a lot of difference in distance. You may be thinking of CLAMs and WAMs, you can see differences in the closeness in those transitional varieties.
