Now I see it they cut the coin in half 2 times somewhere out there is a 1924 s with 2 tails ha ha thanks and I thought I had something different

Chances are if it was altered the weight will be off. (either more or less than normal) Different types of Magician's coin alterations: Sanded two coins:      Altered with a lathe:     Note how there was a second coin altered to fit into the other coin?  Often seen as a double rim on one side of the coin.   Why on this one? (maybe an attempt to create a mint error?) CoopHome: What is a Magician Coin? (two heads or two tails)
