Help me understand what I have here looks like a strike through under chin and missing copper layers mostly on back but some spots on the front the back looks like a 1943 steel penny

Where to begin? Oh I know.

This is PSD (Post Strike Damage), plain and simple.
No error. No missing clad layer on any Lincoln Wheat cent since they are solid copper alloy. Hard to know what the hard white crusty stuff on the reverse is but it's not an error.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

Thanks to all for information I wasn't sure because it looked like a steel 43 that was 9 years early

Agree foreign substance, there were no copper layers in this era.

Spence call almost every possible thing that could be on this coin. I'm curious as to the weight of it though.

I don't have a scale yet what should the weight be on this coin and no a magnet dose not stick to the coin

Normal weight is 3.11 grams +/- .12 grams. You also have to factor in wear and the added weight of whatever substance is on it. As to a scale,0.001 is better than 0.01
