Although this looks like a common coin I can't seems to identify it.
Does anyone recognise it?

Seems awfully dark for a silver coin, but I think @mrw is correct and your coin is just heavily toned (which is perfectly fine by the way and doesn't mean you should polish it). Here is the numista link:

The coin is only 50% silver. Low silver coins have a tendency to tone/ tarnish a lot.
