Everything on this one looks right, but the weight is a little high at 12.59, any thoughts?

Accurate weight and comparative ping tone tests are easy no cost tests that help prove authenticity.
I agree, this example may have been cleaned. from pictures it appears to have no wear on the high points of the design both sides, but no luster either.

Interesting denticle pattern from 10-12...could the extra metal their account for the weight being off? smat

On my monitor I see a lot of luster, a good strike, nice eye appeal and also signs of (likely) market-acceptable cleaning/dipping. This coin could easily be worth several thousand dollars. What is the price? It certainly appears genuine.

Its luster in my picture is muted, but in hand its does have decent full cartwheel luster, particularly the reverse. I would put it at an AU58-MS 62. If dipped, it isn't distraction. I was mostly concerned with authenticity, as sending a coin to NGC takes so long these days and is not cheap. I didn't want to waste the money before getting a consensus on here. I have not dealt with many Seated halves. Thank you all for your input. I will post NGC results in about 6 months when it comes back

AU/UNC details cleaned. I think UNC based on the reverse
i see a ton of horizontal hairlines on the obverse that are traversing the devices. especially noticeable across the arm and legs. original surfaces removed in both obv fields

NGC is almost done with grading this coin, they upcharged me on the grading fee because I sent it in under the economy tier (in case it wasnt real) so I take that as a good sign! Stay tuned!
