Pics are kind of dark, but it looks like a nice coin. Perhaps you can post some brighter pics when it arrives. to the CCF!

This is the O-108 variety with a rarity of 3 (Scarce, 201-500 known). This coin has terminal black toning, and an old cleaning. Just some luster remains around the devices. This piece has a very good strike, seen by the mostly complete wings and head of the eagle, and the detail in Miss Liberty's cap. There is some weakness on the feather tips and Miss Liberty's cheek. This should be an AU, but the cleaning hurts it. I would give this coin a grade of XF-45.

Most likely an original coin though any color is hard to see by the way the coin was photographed. Add some photos when you have it in hand.

AU50, hoping for some better pics soon when it's in hand.

This coin is very dark and unfortunately would not likely straight grade IMO. Reasonably attractive, but it looks like an old cleaning would detail it. Potentially artificially retoned.

Thanks for the responses! I bought the coin hoping that it would grade out at about an AU-50/AU-53. I'll be interested to see how the coin looks in hand, and I'll let everyone know if there are any hairlines that I can detect whenever I get it in the mail. I'll try to snap some better photos, but my camera's not the best, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to get some decent pictures.

Toning doesn't look original to me. EF details.

Can you post some pics of the coin outside the coin flip. The light will reflect different off the coin than it will through the plastic. From these the surfaces do not look original, a bit too reflective.

Sure, here are a couple of photos taken from outside of the holder. Even though the pictures aren't great, this is unfortunately as good as it'll get with my camera.

I'd say AU-53 and attractive.

This coin looks better than the seller's photos. Still appears to have been cleaned, and the dark toning is very good at concealing fine hairlines. It looks to have been artificially toned, that green and blue central color is unusual. Strong luster in protected areas, I will bump my grade from XF-45 up to AU-50.

The color is questionable and my grade would be AU50 if it straight grades.
It appears to be a very nice piece. I agree with some of the other posts that it may well have been recolored.
