I think I got this one from a coin roll, but what first caught my eye was the lil part inside the U of United, then the C & A on the opposite side. But after looking at him in different lights, I can see the extra columns in the last 3 bays of either side. Then also found 2 out of the 3 markers, well the 2 under UNUM, I think anyways! Just wanted to see what everyone else thought

Die Deterioration Doubling. Seen on the reverse one cent devices. USA is showing split plating from Machine Doubling. So you got both happening on your coin. Also on the USA there was heavy die polishing that made these devices smaller.

Not a DDR. The location of the mintmark is not a match for this coin. Just a normal coin with the other issues. Just a face value coin now.

Yea the doubling on the letters first caught my eye, but after more examination, I figured out that was nothing! Then I thought I could see those columns, but likely wishful thinking on my end!

But those are probably die scratches not hub doubling. Hub doubling creates on the die, a doubled device, thus the term doubled die. Die scratches are just a die event. Often seen on bays, but when they are fresher, they are seen above and below the building and not in a definite pattern as a die scratch.:
Die scratches:

1989-D-Lincoln,-1-DR-007,-Extra-Columns?
Note the differences. Die scratches are closer together than the DDR mentioned above. They are in a pattern:
1994 DDR:

They will show the spacing like the hub has on it, that transferred twice when the die was created. Even these will be affected as the die ages:

Random die scratches are just a die event. The DDR is a doubled die.
