fairly sure this will be an 1808 just because. But anyone who has more knowledge on these your thoughts would be much appreciated!

Hard to say which it is, but to my eyes it looks more like a 9 than an 8. Welcome to CCF by the way!

looks more like a 8 but I'm far from an expert. There's probably some die markers that could help even in this condition.
