Hello,

I am really new to this Coin World and I have found that I have a 1976 Penny reflecting the the 1 not being stamped correctly and I also have 1982 D Penny with the date reflecting a different size date numbers.

Would you consider these worth anything or would have some information on why they are like this? I have uploaded a photo, hopefully its okay to see what I am talking about.

I appreciate any information and thank you for your time.

Probably took a hit. It is were a striking issue, the other devices on the coin would also be showing on both sides of the coin. Thus my theory it is a damaged coin issue.

that on the '76 the '1' took a hit and relocated the metal a little bit. The '82 small date Denver coin a common zinc coin that weighs in at 2.5g.
