@1988, first welcome to CCF. Second, your cent was struck with a slightly misaligned die. Normally, we tell folks that there is only added value from this when parts of the letters start to fall off the edge. Yours doesn't quite make that amount, but is still a nice example.

Not rare and not an error.
It has a slight misaligned die and Close AM is common.
It is the Wide AM you need to look for.

The coin is showing a MAD (Mis-Aligned-Die) issue, but not enough to get a premium for this one. The devices on the obverse would need to fall over the edge in order to get a premium.
