Curious to know where people would put this. I'll give it a few days and then reveal what PCGS thinks it's grade is.

I find these are really hard to grade with pictures once you get up in the ms grades could be 60-66, I'll take a stab and say ms65, a really nice coin for sure. I could be way off on this though I haven't tried grading many if there is a little bit of circulation wear I don't see it.

I'm a 65 maybe 66, unless that is wear on mustache and shoulder. Great looking coin based on photos.

MacKennal bust identical design on Australian coins of the same vintage.
No visible wear on the crossbars of the orb on either crown (obv. and rev.) - these are very vulnerable high points. Hair detail behind George's ear nice definition Luster undisturbed on those high points. Some minor digs, in the fields most noticeable on the obv.
MS-63 or 4.

I can't grade "bright and shiny" on a computer screen, but I see nothing that could drop it a grade.

So much glare in those pics, but I'll venture MS65 Quote: I think I see a bit of wear... By definition an MS coin can have no wear. Any wear whatsoever and the highest grade can only be AU.

Kind of hard to fault this coin, so I'll agree with the MS-65.

So this is graded MS-63. My personal take is that it's MS-65, possibly even 66. There are a few very modest blemishes on the surface - obverse, around George's chin for example - but that's really it. The frost strikes me as outstanding.

Is it in an old green holder?
Looks undergraded, but maybe something different in hand. Would find a happy home in my collection.
