What's Wrong With Nepal Coins ? - Coin Community Forum

Slerk Pillar of the Community Russian Federation 1557 Posts	Posted 05/07/2022 09:06 am Now I look at the coins of Nepal on the trading platform, they seem UNC to me, but I noticed that almost all coins have a part of the pattern minted very poorly, some green on silver or with white spots. Wade Pillar of the Community Canada 2781 Posts	Posted 05/07/2022 10:31 am It's likely been stored in a container that contained PVC. Some metals are more susceptible than others to this "rot" and perhaps that's why you're noticing a pattern. The goo will rinse off with acetone but there will likely be pitting and corrosion underneath. Report this Post to the Staff
