Does anyone know where this is from? I've scoured the internet and can't find anything about it. I don't have much info except that it probably came from the Northeast USA (obviously), most likely RI or MA.

Thank you

@ad, is there any evidence on the rim of a loop having been removed? I see some similarities of design to these pendants:

Thank you. Yes, the design seems identical to those, however it does not have any evidence of a chain being removed. The edge is "ridged" all around and has no flaws that I can see.

Here is one exactly the same reeded edge and all that sold for $35.00 in January.

As for "where it came from", I can see a small sevice resembling a mintmark, at the bottom in the same wedge as the cannon wheel. Looks like a little bell shape. Other medals on ebay sharing this design don't seem to share that mark. Any chance of a closeup zoom-in on that mark?

@sap, is that privy mark a bell or a Pilgrim's hat?

Well, at least you now know that it is not a "coin".

I know Early Roger Williams Mint uses a Pilgrim Hat for their Chuck E. Cheese Tokens from 1981.
