Found both of these in a 3000 count Wheat cent bag from an Estate sale a couple weeks back. Good thing I found these, because as far as dates are concerned you couldn't find a more searched lot! Both are 1OM-002 (the lesser valued variety) but I'm still happy to find 'em!

More pronounced than the other one, this coin is probably MDS.

The other one...

A-Couple-Of-1944-D/S-Lincolns
A-Couple-Of-1944-D/S-Lincolns

The horn protruding from the left of the D is less pronounced than the first one, so my guess is this is more LDS than MDS.

Any of the pros want to add comments, I'd love to see them, and learn something!

Yup, very nice.

I have documented 42 rolls of 1944D cents, and have found 14 of these. That's 1 in every three rolls. I have found exactly one of the BIG die #1.

There are RPMs that are tougher to find than this die, unfortuantely. Why it holds such a high value is beyond me.
