This looks to be an "Intrinsic metallic inclusion" error as there is what looks like possible streaks of tin or zinc on obverse and reverse. It also looks like the I in liberty got wiped out by grease possibly? Opinions welcome, thanks!

Thanks, I've seen examples of this on error-ref but never came across one in hand. Interestingly, I found another example on a LWC that I'll try posting later.

You will see a a few of them going through unc Lincolns. I'm more interested in the area above the I. Looks like more than grease. Small lam? missing metal?
What it is the weigh? Seem to be bronze not brass which was normal for this year 75 CU and 25 Ni. I will bath for not more then 1.5 hours in methylic alchohol or alternative= white alchohol 90%. DO NOT PUT IN ACCETONE!. We will see then.
