Found this 1987 P in coin roll. Is this grease strike issues? It's worn, but don't see that it is like a dryer type or whatever...idk. Thoughts?

Agree with the grease assessment. I'd like to see a struck-through tuna sandwich--over the decades, some mint worker had to accidently drop part of a sandwich into a striking chamber.

Note the size of the devices on the 'L' and the '7'? Note they are wider because of the Grease Fill in the deepest part of the die. That is why they are weaker and wider:
