Hey all

Not sure if this is an error or if it is PMD, but I have this quarter that isn't completely brown/orange and there are vertical stripes that appear parallel with each other. It doesn't appear to be toning so I'm not sure what the issue is here and hoping you guys can educate me on this.

I took photos out of the light and in the light with a couple of close up shots.

Looks like it had a substance on the coin and not the high points of it are wearing off. Notice that the yellow remains mainly in the recessed areas.
